What changed.

• NeuralSpark now runs on the newest version of its engine. It looks and works as it did: your conversations, agents, settings and connections move across on the first start, and a copy of your earlier conversations is kept beside them.
• Changed files show exactly how many lines each edit added and removed.

• Find your way around code: Chat can jump to where a function or class is defined and list every place it is used, in TypeScript, JavaScript and Python projects. The language tools ship with NeuralSpark, so nothing extra needs installing.
• Hooks: have NeuralSpark run your own commands at set moments, such as your tests or a linter after every file Chat edits, or a check that refuses a risky command. Ask Chat to set one up; it works as soon as it is saved, in the same format Claude Code uses.
• Chat always has NeuralSpark’s own up-to-date Node for tests and scripts, even when an older Node is installed on the PC.

• Coding in Chat: Git and Node now start from PowerShell on every PC, and a copy of Git ships with NeuralSpark, so Chat can run your tests and commit without asking for full access.
• A PowerShell session that keeps its place: Chat can go into a project folder once and keep the folder, variables and environment from one command to the next.
• See what changed: a reply that edited files lists them under its steps with the lines added and removed; click a file to see the change.
• Plan first: a button beside the file access control has Chat plan the work and check with you before it changes anything.

• Each figure gets its own tile: a stat never squeezes two findings together, so every number reads at a glance.
• A number that describes something in your own words (“a three-office group”) stays in your words instead of being shown as a big figure.
• Your document’s colours and typefaces stay on every style and direction Chat shows you; they change only if you ask for other colours.
• Nothing is said twice: a banner, callout or quote never repeats a sentence from the text beside it or from an earlier slide.

• Redesigning your own document: the line that runs along the foot or top of every page (a title, a draft mark, the page number) is recognised as the document’s footer, not as your words, so it never turns up as a box on a slide.
• Your wording and the design agree: when a figure is in your own sentence and also shown large, the design keeps your sentence and shows the figure once; changing capital letters no longer counts as changing your words.
• Open layouts, with columns ruled rather than boxed, are no longer mistaken for half-empty boxes, so those styles export as they should.
• Short lines in your document that are really a list come through as a list, not run together into one sentence.
• Steps, cards and points side by side share one text size, so none stands out from its neighbours.
• After an update, a design’s check is run again with the new rules before it can be exported.
• Questions Chat asks fit their card when a design is open beside the conversation: Skip and Submit move to their own line instead of being cut off.

• Designs sit naturally on the page: a one-pager fills its page with larger type and airier tables instead of leaving an empty gap, a slide’s closing message stays with its content, and pictures fill the space beside them.
• Text is sized with the real typefaces before anything is fitted, so nothing runs past its edge.
• No empty blocks: a closing slide ends on your cover picture when it has none of its own, and the check refuses a panel with nothing in it.
• Chat keeps its working files out of your folders, and calculates with PowerShell or its own Node.js on any PC, without asking for extra access.
• Files Chat presents appear once, as cards with Open buttons, not again as a list of links.
• Lists stay readable: a line of items separated by dots breaks between items, never inside one.
• Web pages: every picture shows in the preview and exports, a section label is always words, and every link on the page reaches its section.
• Designs made before an update are redrawn with the latest improvements the first time you open them.

• Every fact is said once: a figure shown large is not written out again in the text, panel or headline beside it, and a box never just repeats the numbers of the table next to it.
• No more slides with a small block floating in empty space: the check measures how much of each slide its content fills, and thin slides get a larger figure, a picture, or fewer and bigger blocks.
• More pictures, used well: section and closing slides can carry a picture as the cover does, each picture appears once, and words over a photograph stay readable.
• Pictures Chat makes show a mood, a texture or a scene from your world; they never pass as your own premises, people or products.
• The directions Chat shows you use each style’s own tested colours or your brand, never a palette it made up. People or options of the same kind are shown the same way, and thin facts get room instead of filler.
• Chat runs its own calculations without asking you for full access to your PC, and keeps its working files out of your folders.
• Links to files whose names have spaces or brackets now open as links in Chat’s replies.

• A lighter install: the old Design Studio engine (about 17,000 files and 390 MB) is no longer installed, so the download is smaller and installing and updating are quicker. Chat does its work now.
• Your earlier Design Studio projects are kept: they stay in your work folder and in Library, where Show in folder opens them.
• Updating from an earlier version removes the old engine in one step, with nothing left behind.

Chat is the designer. Ask for a deck, a report, a one-pager, a poster or a web page, and Chat makes the finished thing beside the conversation, checks it the way a designer would, and hands you the files.

• Decks, documents, posters and web pages from a few sentences, from your files (spreadsheets, notes, price lists) or from a document you want redesigned. Chat works out the numbers from your files itself.
• Twenty-five styles in six families, from quiet and classic to editorial, bold, warm, friendly and dark. Each composes its pages its own way: covers split, framed, set in a band, as a poster or full bleed; headlines ruled, barred or numbered; boxes as cards, outlined, tinted or ruled; grounds with a wash, a grid, an edge or a circle.
• Looks: open it in the design panel to see your own design drawn in every style, switch with a click, or change just the cover, the headlines, the boxes, the background, the colours or the typefaces.
• Directions: before it builds, Chat draws two or three different directions with your own pages, looks at them, and asks which you want (or chooses, if you ask it to). No two customers get the same look by default.
• Give it last year’s PDF, Word file or PowerPoint: it reads your colours and typefaces, keeps your headlines word for word, lays every page out again, and proves every headline and figure is still there.
• Every page is checked before you see it and before it can be exported: text cut off or spilling, overlapping or too small, a sentence squeezed into a narrow column, a box left half empty, the same line twice, a headline or figure from your document missing, and words about the job on a slide. Nothing exports until the check is clean.
• Export a PDF with real text, an editable PowerPoint (every box, shape and table), pictures of every page, or a web page as one file.
• In the design panel: Point to change (click any line and say what you want), every version kept, and Present full screen.
• Pictures: Chat makes them with the image model of the provider you connected (Meta Muse, Google Gemini, OpenAI or xAI) and puts them into a poster, a page or a cover. Your own photos always come first.
• Create something on the Home page: a pitch deck, a redesign of your document, a report or proposal, a one-pager, a poster or flyer, or a web page.
• Library shows every design with its cover; open one and carry on.
• Cowork: the files a task made are listed by their names and kinds, without the working backups, and opening a task never renames another task with the same request.
• Show in File Explorer on a file Chat hands you opens Explorer with the file selected.
• Design Studio is retired: Chat does its work now. Your Studio projects stay in your work folder and in Library.
